When the Game is Over

I have come to really appreciate John Ortberg's writing. In this very good book, Ortberg uses the image of board games to remind us of the meaning of life and for preparing for the time when all the pieces go back in the box. An excellent book that all should read.

Things Unseen

This was a fantastic book. It is a book about heaven but it is a book about living life now with heaven firmly in mind. Mark Buchanan tackles the idea of being so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good. Being earthly good requires being heavenly minded.
